Mom says, ‘I have been wanting to write this blog for ages ... Now, the second last day of our holiday I finally get the opportunity ...
ZaZa sentences and words are exploding ... I know I have said this before, but it is really incredible how this language thing develops ... Everyday is something new ...
At the moment (what I can recall) she is saying -
‘I don’t like it’ ‘ I like it’
‘I don’t know’
If you say, ‘Who made a poo?’ or ‘Who ate the tomato?’ .. ZaZa will proudly pop out of nowhere and say, ‘ME!’
She is very into baby things, ‘Baby tomatoes’, ‘baby cucumbers’, ‘baby pickles’
She is loving filling in the words of nursery rhymes, like, ‘twinkle, twinkle’, ‘grand old duke’, ‘yankee doodle’, ‘incy wincy spider’, ‘humpty dumpty’, ‘its rainy its pouring’ ... She LOVES singing, ‘Wheels on the bus ... ‘ and ‘Eeya, eeya oh ... Old macdonald’
Every spider is an ‘incy wincy spider’ ... I think that is her favourite rhyme ...
She loves to tell me, ‘it’s rainy, it’s pouring’ ... And she LOVES the ‘rella’
Oh yes, she loves her new, ‘Winnie Pooh POISE’ (purse)
She loves to say, ‘Thank you, Man’ or ‘Thank you, Lady’ ... When we leave the shops, when a waiter/waitress takes off things from the table etc etc
Nearly every man she sees is a, ‘Funny man, Mom!’
She loves to say, ‘Yes, Mom’ or ‘No, Mom’ or , ‘Yes, Dad’, ‘No, Dad’
She loves to ‘Play ball’ or ‘Play soccer’ and tell the other person to ‘stand there!’ ‘catch’
She loves to say, ‘ready, steady .....’
In the mornings, the first thing she says is, ‘watch Tv, Mom ... Drink milk, Mom!’
At the moment everything is either, ‘Big’ or ‘Small’, ‘Big Barney, small Barney’, ‘Big, Jog the Frog, small Jog the Frog’, ‘Big Poo, Small poo’
I absolutely melt ... When she says, ‘Change my nappy ... Please ... Mom’ with the absolute pleading look on her face ...
I absolutely melt when she says, ‘Help me ... ‘
If something is gone, she runs and says, ‘I get it ... I get it’ all very excitedly ... And then, ‘I found it ... I found it’... Very excitedly ... Even if she didn’t find it ...
She is very into, ‘dirty’ at the moment ... And does not like ‘ dirty’ ... Gets quite distressed if she has dirt on her hands .. Not sure where she got this from ...
‘jamas’ for pjames
She loves to get things for people ... Like bring Phil his watch, or me my waterbottle shouting, very excitedly ... ‘here, Dad!’ ... ‘Here, Mom’ ...
She loves her new, ‘puter’ for computer ...
‘I see ... ‘
‘Winnie Pooh Bear’ is her new favourite ...
‘ I watch ... Charlie and Lola ... Elmo... Dora Explora .. Dora and Monkey’
‘I’m tired’ ... ‘I’m hungry’ ... ‘I’m thirsty’ ...
‘Nose snotty’
We cannot put on ZaZa’s nappy without ZaZa saying, ‘Let me see’ ... She has to see what animal is on her nappy... Then she says the animal ... ‘spotty dog’, ‘raffe’, ‘cat’, ‘ elephant nose’ ‘cow’
Phil melts when she, ‘MY DADDY’ and after many hours of Brian Janks teasing her ... She now knows that ‘BeeeJJJ’ is ‘Mommy’s Dad’ ...
‘ I want to ... ‘ is a favourite sentence at the moment ... Usually filled in by, ‘I want to watch Tweenies’ ... ‘I want to dance’ ... ‘I want that’ ... ‘I want chocolate milk’ ... ‘I what water’ ‘I wantmy dummy’ ...Sometimes followed by, ‘Pleeeease ‘’...
My absolute favourite is her ‘Oh no’ (with absolute devastation) ‘Thank you’ when you give her anything, and still my absolute favourite is, ‘Yaaaaa’, ‘Ya’
‘I’m tired’, ‘I’m warm’
‘nough’ for enough ...
‘light on’
‘it’s better, mom’
‘it’s broken’ ... (with lots of heartache and expression)
... Ok ... I think that is all for now ...
She is suddenly insisting on eating with a ‘KNIFE’ and ‘fork’
