Mom Says ...

'Yes, it's Mom again ... I just can't believe how quickly ZaZa is growing up ... her vocab, memory, ability to do things ... AMAZING. I sometimes wish that I could have a Dictaphone on her all the time ... she comes out with the cutest things. Although she does not speak in 'full' sentences (besides for prepositions) it does not seem like there is anything that she is NOT saying ...
But thinking back, what are some of the cute things she is saying:
'What you guys doing?' (When watching other kids at the park or swimming)
When I leave the house I always say, 'Love you" and do the sign ... ZaZa now replies, 'Love me'
She absolutely LOVES hugging me, Phil, her little friends ... we will be sitting somewhere and she will just spontaneously give the BIGGEST hug ... like yesterday at the park ... i want to melt when those little hand wrap around me
She loves saying, 'I want to see something'
She always says, 'I just want to see what Daddy/Mommy doing?'
She is at that stage when she loves to tell me, 'My ear sore - want to see Doctor Lauren' (yes, I took her to the doctor and her ears were fine). Today she told me, 'My throat sore' and I had to kiss all over her throat.
She loves to boss Naphtali her little friend around.
Today I watched her and Naphtali for about 15 minutes as they played this whole little game with each other, if Naphtali ran to the steering wheel then ZaZa ran there, then Tali would run away, stop, and ZaZa would run to him ... this carried on for 15 minutes ... totally fascinating to watch - they knew all the rules to the game and everything
Her favourite things at the moment:
Singing 'The wheels on the bus ... the peoples on the bus ... the Daddy's on the bus go work ... The Mommies go chat ... The birds on the bus tweet ... the giraffes on the bus eat grass ... '
She still absolutely loves Jog the Frog and we HAVE to listen to the CD in the car all the time ... I try and trick her, but it does not work
Roly Poly with her hands
'spinning around like a fairy'
'Jumping like a frog'
'Codo' (for avocado)
'Monkey Goerge' (for Curious Goerge)
'Winnie Pooh Bear'
'Strawberry' anything - yoghurt, drinking milk, ice-cream
'fairy skirt'
Her new 'house' (especially climbing through the window)
Her 'sandals'
She loves to do things by herself and tell me afterwards, 'by myself'
Loves building 'a house' with her blocks ... 'A BIG house', 'No a baba house', 'No a BIG house'
She loves to go down the slide 'On my tummy' (but can take about 10 minutes to come down the slide)
Loves to say, 'My Turn'
Loves to tell me, 'The boys are running', 'The boys are playing soccer'
Loves to 'Wipe my glasses' (first licks them - instead of blowing on them ... and then wipes them)
Loves to help mommy ... 'I help mommy'
Loves to put laundry in the laundry basket before bathing, then she has to 'make a wee', gets on the toilet, jumps off a second later and says, 'no wee', wipes her vagina with toilet paper, climbs up on the toilet and flushes (I think the flushing it the highlight). Then I get in the bath ... and for the next ten minutes ZaZa dances nude around the bathroom, sticking her bum out, 'spinning round', 'clapping hands', 'stamping feet' ... too cute .. Then bath ... then out 'brush teeth green barney brush', then 'cream', 'milky', 'story'
Fav story at the moment, 'Maisy' and 'Hug' (thanks Nic and Dani)
Oh yes, she has 'Friend Dani' and 'Big Dani'
She has been very good at telling everyone her name is 'ZaZa' 'Who?' 'Jamie-Janks-Gelvan' (cause she knows Jamie janks)
I take out the Shabbat Candles tonight and she shouts, 'My birthday, my birthday'
I know I have said this before ... but I am absolutely LOVING this stage ... (minus the 6% of the time when she is throwing food on the floor, or sulking, or moaning) ... but that leaves 94% of time of PURE JOY...
I have learnt to be patient, as it takes ZaZa an extra 20 minutes to do Anything ... but that is a small sacrifice for all the laughter and happiness I get from being with ZaZ ...
Oh yes, She LOVES telling me 'There's the mountain, Mum!' with a complete surprised and happy expression every time, 'Beach, Mum', 'Boats, Boats - baby boats, Big boats' ... I LOVE that she is growing up with all these natural elements around her and generally sees the mountain on a daily basis ... and the sea all day from our flat ... stunning!
