‘ZaZa is being EXTRA cute at the moment ... She is chatting, chatting, chatting away ... There does not seem to be anything she cant say or ask for (although there are very few prepositions in her sentence structure at the moment... Yet, you still fully understand what she say) ... I am totally amazed at this whole speech developing process ...
Phil has gone on a business trip, this morning she woke up and said, ‘Where’s my Daddy gone???’, I said, ‘On Holiday’, to which she replied ‘Mountains’ ... This is the first time she used this word, and the fact that she remembered two weeks ago when I said we are going to the mountains.
She loves saying if she is going to have a ‘big’ something or ‘small’ e.g. ‘big sleep’, ‘small sleep’, ‘big bath’, ‘small bath’.
She is loving getting ‘snotties nose’ (snot from her nose).
Loves making ‘chips’ in her oven, and everybody has to eat the pretend chips.
She is very good at saying, ‘I don’t like that, MOM’, or ‘Why do that, MOM?’ (especially when I clean her face or brush her hair).
On the subject of hair ... Her hair is a nightmare, if it has not got a bottle of Johnson’s detangler in it and all the knots combed out ... It is a birds nest.
She tells me, when we go into a shop, ‘Don’t touch that Mom’, or she tells me and the others kids, ‘No touching’ (especially when she builds a ‘house’ with her blocks).
We have been very good and getting her dummy, Jog the Frog or anything to ‘wait’ in the car/ home ... And then she gets very excited when we come back and she sees the thing. ‘waiting for me!!!’
If I ask her what she is doing, she loves telling me, ‘Watching Dora TV’ or ‘watching TV’ or ‘eating Oties’
‘I’m hungry’ ‘I’m thirsty’
‘I want to watch TV’, ‘going to the shops’
I wish I could remember everything my little pumpkin says ...
Oh yes, I am trying to teach her that her name is ZaZa Janks-Gelvan, but she knows that her cousin is ‘Jamie Janks’, so if I say ZaZa who, she says, ‘ZaZa Jamie Janks-Gelvan’ (as if she needs more letters in her name).
She is very good at coming and saying, ‘sorry’ if she has done something wrong.
She LOVES hugging and kissing all kids and adults goodbye, with BIG open arms ... Too sweet!
(sorry if there is repitition from previous blogs).
