It seemed like a lifetime away when they proposed the trip, but here we are! 1 Small carry on suitcase, a day backpack (mainly for my tea bottle and water bottle) and myself and 5 other consultants are off (plus the owners, teresa and José who are from Lisbon! - so we getting the 'locals tour guided trip')
It really is about 'traveling light' this holiday. Leaving the kitchen, cleaning, Kids, the worries I have about azis ear, worries about Zaza's headaches, what to cook, what snacks etc - leaving it all for 5 days!
A huge big thank you to phil, who will be juggling work and kids! Thanks babe!
It's definitely a go with the flow trip, we know nothing about where we going, staying, eating, doing!
Also - very varied personalities - from an older Maltese male chef, to a spunky vegan :) ... should be interesting!
