We got to the airport, lots of excitement! Checked in (hand luggage was overweight, so did a quick 'reshuffle') ... Azi insisted on bringing this suitcase (empty) ...she didn't want to be the only one without a pull along!
We had 2 hours wait at the airport! Pretty boring! Thanks to the free piano in airport and great players!
On flight! First leg to Dubai, Azi fell asleep at 4 hours! (Both kids didn't take eyes off screen for 4 hours) ... At 5 hours we landed on Dubai! After lots of requesting, I carried Azi off plane, sir host got us those golf cart things, no prams to be found, eventually got a family to share one of their airport prams! Dubai airport was super busy at midnight! Zaz and I grabbed a smoothie! Waited 2 hours and back on plane (we were the last to board and I was carrying Azi sleeping)
Azi continued to sleep, Zaz and I continued to watch movies and eat breakfast (at 3am) ...
Of course as I dozed off, Azi woke up! Zaz fell asleep.
Thankfully I fell asleep and Azi watched tv - she woke me to go to the toilet!
Then she slept and Zaz woke!
Loads of meals and tv later and Azi constantly asking, 'are we in Sydney yet'
Needless to say - arriving at 10pm in Sydney, getting out at 10:45 and the big hugs and kisses was worth 24 hours of traveling!
Bed at 2am! With az saying, 'I'm not ready for sleep'
