Even though the meeting was for 1 hour on Wednesday afternoon, the flights were booked and it meant that he could only fly on Tuesday evening and back on Thursday evening.
On Tuesday morning it suddenly dawned on me ... This is the first time in azis life that I will be completely alone (on an island) with 2 kids! It definitely made me appreciate of the support that I have had up to now with the kids!
So Phil left on Tuesday evening (thankfully at 9pm
After he cooked steak for dinner) ...
Azi woke up at her usual 6am asking for dad - as she usually does. When I said he has gone to his meeting, she replied, 'but that was last night' ... Thankfully I had my computer in the room and put on YouTube and went back to sleep.
The next time I woke was 8am! Zaz and Azi were in the living room. Zaz proudly announced that she looked on the Internet and made boiled eggs in the Thermomix! She was then looking for a custard recipe.
We then played a bit, more breakfast.
Then came over to Zaria's friend. They have been in the pool all day. The best part was when they decided to play with their younger siblings. So much fun.
I am expecting a shower, dinner and early bed time!
