At the Rosh Chodesh group - I met the ambassador of Italy's wife - who is isreali and is a professional opera singer who performs in operas world wide! I was so blown away by her passion (and ability to juggle hosting presidents weekly, 2 children and s professional career)
She wAs the lead in Orpheus in Eurydice - so off Zaz, I and these older friends of ours went!
First stop - burgers!
Next stop - valetta opera house! So beautiful!!! It's like being in a dolls house!
At interval we moved booths to sit directly facing the stage!
Zaz was horrified that I did this!
I found out yesterday, that this booth is permanently reserved for the president of Malta! Oops! Chutzpah!
The opera was beautiful, simple, amazing singing, great orchestra!
