ZaZa conversations ...

Mom says: 'ZaZ speaks from the minute she wakes up to the minute she goes to sleep AND then in her sleep ... And even though it is a constant stream of speaking, she makes SO much sense and has such wisdom and insight, that I don't get irritated ... (OK - so I might be slighly biased) ... BUT it also means that I am constantly smiling by all the cute things she says, and her insight and knowledge ... AND it means that it is hard to remember the things she said ... (and unfortunately, I can't constantly jot them down) ... To add to that - her expressions and hand-gestures are SOOOO adorable, it is hard to capture in written format (but again, I would need a camera on her 24/7) ... SO - with my memory, I will try capture the few things she says:

Yesterday we got fish ... (6 tiny winy fish that zaza first wanted to name imi and zani and lani and fani - we decided on Auntie Cas, Granny Rona, ZaZa, Ally, Romy and Coby and the next fish will be Bernie) ... So her and Phil are going for a bike ride in the morning ... she says to me: 'Mom, just in case we are not back by lunch time, make sure you take care of the fish, give them their lunch and make sure they are ok.'

The other night in the bed (ZaZ sleeps in the middle - sometimes) ... Phil pulls the duvet over @ about 5 in the morning (we are all still sleeping) ...
Mom: Phil don't pull the duvet - I am freezing
Ten minutes later
ZaZ: MOM - this is a good lesson for you - you must learn to share!

I arrived ZaZ school early one day ... and was watching her on the jungle gym from the road ...
She was standing at the top of the jungle gym, with her hands stretched out ... being the 'gate' ... and was deciding who could go in and who couldnt - everyone was allowed in ...
A BIG boy (about a head taller than ZaZ) from the DRC ... climed up the side ...
ZaZ went with her finger to him and said...
'Wallen, if you come up here you must not fight with us... ok?!'
He stood there in shock (and he is still learning English)
ZaZ: 'Wallen - what did I say? Tell me what I said?'
Finally Wallen repeated ... 'I must not fight' ...
Shame man ...

ZaZ is still very concerned about dying ... The other day at the end of her BFF Dani's party, they were sitting together playing with one of the presents and I was sitting there ... and this is how the conversation went ...
ZaZ: When we die, 1 part of our body goes to the ground and turns into a skeleton and the other part of our body goes to Hashem
Dani: AND ... your heart and eyes go to someone if they need it
ZaZ: But your body goes to Hashem
Dani: I'm Jewish because I go to a Jewish school
ZaZ: I'm Jewish because I wear a star of David (pointing to her bracelet)
