Mom: ZaZ I have something Sad and Exciting to tell you
ZaZ: Ya
Mom: Dad has a job in Australia and is going to go there and work for a bit
ZaZ:
Mom: and then exciting because he will come back for your birthday
ZaZ: Yipppppeeeeeee
Mom: but sad because he is going to go back there again
ZaZ:
Mom: But exciting because then we are going to go live in Australia with him
ZaZ: Yipppppeeeee
ZaZ: And Aunty Cas?
Mom: Yes
ZaZ: And Granny Rona
Mom: Yes
ZaZ: And Bern
Mom: Yes
ZaZ: Annnnddd, I know a REALLY good place where we can have lunch
Mom: Laugh

Ten minutes later:
Has dad gone to Australia tonight?

We got home ... and ZaZ took the camera and started taking pictures:
ZaZ: I'm taking pictures so we remember our house when we go to Australia ... oh, the flowers look Sad that we are going to leave them ...

Moral of the story: Kids always see the positive and really live in the present.

She told Cassi on Skype today: I'm going to come live in Australia with you, and have my birthday @ the museum with the Dinosaur Skeletons and the Wiggles.
