reporting ... hmm ... on Saturday, by 8:30am it was CRAZY busy @ Aqua
Bar - so I went in to help ... I actually really like working there,
chatting to the customers, completely occupied with getting things out
- especially when it is crazy busy... My mom was with ZaZ, they swam,
went to the knee doctor, to a brocha @ shul ... then came to Aqua ...
I took her to Kat to swim ... it was BOILING on Saturday 36 degrees
plus ... we just melted in the pool. Then home, more swimming and @
5pm to the beach with Romy and Ally. The 3 girls played beautifully -
building sandcastles, using the squirters, Rom built an 'airoplane'
that ZaZ LOVED to play in ... Rom and I went into the sea... back from
beach @ 8pm with Hurricans Take-Aways, dinner, Ally and ZaZ in
Bath ... Ally and ZaZ sleeping in 5 minutes!
Friday ... Me gym, ZaZ walk on promenade with Granny ... Aqua ... home
- swimming, swimming (ZaZ practicing A LOT - she says, 'I need to
practice so that when I go back to Africa I go into the Big Girl's
class and not back into the Baby class' ... Then @ 3ish after lunch @
Aqua - beach. ZaZ made a little friend at the beach - I don't think
she knew her name - but for 30 minutes I watched them play in this
hole of mud. ZaZ decided she was the Mommy and the little girl
(slightly older and taller than her) was the baby ... ZaZ was climbing
all over this baby, getting her to sleep on her chest, throwing her in
the hole, catching her ... they were having a JOL and it was a
pleasure to watch ... oh yes, then ZaZ took Melon to where her friend
was sitting ... she had to go wash her hands, so she asked a random
women ' excuse me - please can you keep my melon safe while I wash my
hands' and then run to the sea ... SO - this became the game ...
(unfortunately, some how my camera lost these pictures) ... ZaZ was
very upset when her 'baba' had to go to bed ...
Cute things ZaZ saying lately:
Granny in car: Oh I can't see properly (because Sun in eyes)
ZaZ: Have you got your contacts in?
Granny eating a plum in the fruit shop
ZaZ: Granny (with a shocked voice) - you must pay for that before you
eat it
Romy trying on clothes in a shop
ZaZ to the Sales assistant, 'Excuse me - do you have this in another
size. Excuse me lady - you must get your clothes at Woolies, they have
clothes for Grown-Ups'. (The women was confused as Woolworths here
only sells food)
I don't want to admit it ... but when ZaZ makes a mistake she says,
'DAMN IT!'
Mom in the car with front Window Open: ZaZ are you getting blown away
ZaZ: I can't get blown away, I am wearing my seatbelt
One of the Ladies @ Aqua Bar gave ZaZ the DVD of Cinderella, ZaZ says
'I like the part when her dress gets ruined and the birds and fairy
come to fix it'
ZaZ loves typing on Auntie Cas computer and seeing the words on the TV
screen ... sorry - she likes typing and then 'getting rid of it' (with
the backspace key)
For the last 2 nights, she has chatted to Phil on Skype ... She says,
'Dad ... I love you, Dad I really MISS you, Dad can you come back to
Australia?' ...
Have I mentioned that she often says, 'Let me thing about this for a
minute?' with a thinking, scrunched-up face, index finger in check and
making the clicking sound with her sound ... Like when we arrived @
Museum today ... 'I think I have been to this museum before ... hmmm,
let me think about this ... yes I have been here before'
Mom: I don't think I'm going to send you to school ... I want to be
with you
ZaZ: Mom, I have to go to school, my friends are missing me ... AND at
school we do Yoga, and I have to do Yoga to be fit!
Oh My gosh ... This child is such a cutie pie!!!!!!!
