Long over due blog ...

Mom says, ‘I have been meaning to write this blog entry for ages ... But have not gotten to it ... It is now 1PM .. I have a million this to do ... But I’m shutting it all out and writing this ...
ZaZa is talking SO much lately ... It is hard to document all that she is saying ...9That’s why I need to blog more often) ...
Last night we were lying in bed ... Waiting for ZaZa to fall asleep when my phone rang:
ZaZA: ‘The phones ringing, MOM!’
Mom: I know but you are going to sleep
Z: The phones ringing MOM!!!
M: I know, but you are going to sleep
Z: I’ll get it! I’ll get it! (Just about diving out of bed) ...
M: you are going to sleep ... Phone stops – thank goodness ... (I nearly ate her up)

Today I come home from work ... And she looks at me, with her hands on her head:
ZaZa: Oh No (very dramatic, upset face, shoulders bent)
M: what Zazz?
Z: My friends allgone .. Oh No (dramatic hands on head)

4am in the morning:
ZaZa wakes up all cheerful:
Z: Oh no (very dramatic,) ... Wheres my mooNdummy GONE? (upward inflection ... Most of her sentences sound like one word)
M: where is it? (groggy and tired)
Z: (Very excited) I’ll find it, I’ll find it (scrambling around the bed)
M: Here it is (pop into mouth)
Z: I find it! I find it! (very happy and pleased with self)
Z: SLEEP!
(This can happen a few times before 7:30am ... Thank goodness each time, Phil or I and ZaZa fall straight back to sleep)

Finding things at the moment is one of her favourite things, if I say, “ZaZ where is your beanie”, ZaZa gets super excited and runs excitedly through the house shouting, ‘I’ll find it, I’ll find it’... Then when I (Mom) find it, she grabs it and shout, ‘I FIND it, I FIND it’.

All her Dummies have names, depending on what picture there is ... There is ‘Moon dummy’, ‘flower dummy’, ‘sun dummy’, ‘torti dummy’ (with a tortoise on) ... The ‘Moon dummy’ stays in the cot (hopefully) for ‘sleep time’

ZaZa now tells me what time of the day it is, ‘bath time’, ‘sleep time’, ‘botti time’, ‘play time’, ‘draw time’, ‘supper time’ ... SUPER CUTE!!

ZaZa loves to ‘Draw’, ‘play ball’, ‘sit’ ... She loves to ‘dance’ and asks everyone to ‘dance’ with her...

She LOVES ‘Elmo’ (Thanks Maya), ‘Dora and monkey’, ‘Barney and friends’, ‘finley’ ... She love ‘watch TV, watch TV’ ... If we leave the house, ‘Bye TV, TV off’

‘I like it’ ‘my favourite’ ‘Yum’ ‘Youghurt’ (youghurt is the favourite at the moment)

‘Daddy coming home’, ‘Lindelwa gone home’, ‘MY Mommy here’..

MY is a favourite word ...

Ok ... That’s all I can think now ... Will keep adding more regularly... (hopefully) - so that I don’t forget ...

Oh yes, if I can ask person, ‘what’s their name’ ... ZaZa immediately answers, ‘ZAZaaaa’

ZaZa loves saying goodbye, by shouting, ‘Seeyuoulata, see you lata’ and blowing big boisterous kisses, many times (like she is finishing an Opera on stage)
