My holiday so far ...

Mom and I were really upset that Dad could not fly down on Saturday morning, as planned, to start our family holiday and celebrate my birthday with me. Dad had a nasty gastro ... The next flight he could get on was on Tuesday morning. So Mom had me by herself for Yom Kippur (and mom is not a good faster). Sunday night, I feel asleep in shul and slept on Moms lap while she prayed. Monday, Ciski came to babysit me ... And we had lots of fun, painting and me giving Cisk a mani and pedi with kitchen tongs. Monday afternoon – dropped off at Max and Ben;s house and hang out with them. Then fetched to go for breaking of the fast at Auntie Esthers house – YUM, YUM.
Tuesday morning, wake-up, quickly pack-up (well, Mom packed-up, while I wanted to play) ... Womi fetched us, and I got to play with the ‘teletubbies’ (Mom couldn’t believe that when she said Wom was fetching us ... I said ‘teletubbies’ remembering that I played with these a few days before in Wom’s car)
After a stop at the shops, I went and played with ‘Ari’ and ‘Tal’ ... They have the coolest toys, especially the singing frog.
Then I had a sleep there and when I woke up ‘MY Daddy’ was there!!! After getting coffee, forgetting the computer at Womi’s house, the blackberry GPS not working, getting Ron;s Garmin, getting lost in Sandton, getting lost in Alberton ... We finally arrived in mist, rain, mist and not being able to see infront of us ... At 7:30pm at Champagne Castle in the Drakensburg. At this stage, after entertaining myself in the car for 4 hours, I feel asleep.
I was then schlepped in the rain to our new bedrooom and lay on the bed, then into the pram so Mom and dad could go for dinner (All I ate from 2pm was snacks and a chocolate and strawberry drinking youghurt –oh vey!) then back to the room and into my new bed.
I COMPLETE darkness and quiet this place, I woke up at 4am to ask for ‘milkie and watch TV’ ... Mom said, ‘go back to sleep’ ... We ALL woke up at 8:30 ...
Fresh mountain air ... ROCKS!
