I need a solution / cure?????

Mom here, ‘I have read a lot of blogs ... And I think the blogs fall into different categories ... Generally speaking I think my blog fits into the everyday picture blog ... But this entry falls into the VENTING type of blog!
Oh My Gosh ... I have just emerged from lying with ZaZa for THREE hours ... While I tried desperately to get her back to sleep! She tried every procrastination trick in the book: asking for water, saying good night to every thing and person possible, telling me she has a poo (when she didn’t), playing with my face ... And I tried every sleep technique: lying in different positions, tapping, rocking, pretending to sleep myself, shooing, physically pinning ZaZa down to the bed, and squeezing her extremely tightly,  telling her firmly that it is sleep time, denying her water (I am a horrible mom)... NOTHING worked ...
For the first two hours, ZaZa lay with her eyes wide open, then next hour she fell asleep and as soon as I moved a centimetre from the bed she woke up ... I blame this all on JETLAG!
To add to it ... My 3 hours of lying with ZaZa was made worse by the fact that Josh Groban (I’m embarrassed to say) was playing on the ipod ... But there were only five songs – so the same five songs I heard for 3 hours straight.
The experience was also made worse by the fact that I was NOT tired, it is midday in SA ... But I am allowed to stay up, I am the Boss (Mom), ZaZa is the baby and it is our third day here and it was 8pm at night and she needed to sleep. Last night she woke up at 8pm here (midday SA) ... I let her play till 11pm, then did the sleep schpiel and we both went to bed ... But isn’t it time she now gets into Oz time? I think ZaZa has just ruined her chances of travelling across a time zone again ...
What FREAKS me out more – is that in just over a month I am going to go through this all again ... And I think it is worse on the way back (At least Phil can do the funny hours with ZaZ, while I reset my clock).
PLEASE friends, family, sangomas, wise men and women of this world offer me solutions!!!!??????
