After what seemed like a lifetime of traveling (4am wake-up, airport, malta-Frankfurt (3hrs flying) Frankfurt - NY (8hrs flying) ... a marathon long que at passport control, waiting for shuttle, getting onto shuttle, everyone else being dropped off shuttle! Flying into hotel! Dropping my bags, flying out of hotel (into cold, but not as bad as I thought cold), onto subway, out in time square ... all the time messaging Robbie, who is doing his utmost at telling Cassi that his messaging his friend in Australia. Finding a spot for us to meet, waiting and looking where Robbie and Cassi are ... waiting... waiting ... looking side to side (felt as if I was at Wimbledon)
Suddenly, a few steps away I see someone who looks like Cassi! It actually took a few minutes for my brain to register ... then I just JUMPED out and SCREAMED 'SURPRISE' ... Cassi (and the public) looked at me like I was mad! Then it took Cassi a few minutes to register ... and then she burst out laughing and crying and I laughed so hard until my stomach hurt (have not done that in ages) and then we laughed and cried and cried from laughter! Seriously the best moment ever!!!
Then a 'how did this happen?' .. 'who knew?' ... all the mess ups!
My stomach took charge, after not eating properly for 12 hours ... so a big walk to Annabel's! Delicious zucchini noodles with cheese and olive oil and and ... and gnocchi made with cheese and spinach and a sauce of artichokes and pinenuts etc! And lots of talking! And laughing!

(Ps: will not buy water in restaurant again $8+tax, same bottle €2 in Malta restaurants! Thankfully glass bottles! )
