After a quick howzit and play at Nadine and her little bubs Kira, we drove to the zoo!
Yes, it was freezing, yes, it was threatening to rain, yes, it cost a small fortune to go in!
But seeing the giraffes, elephants, the most gorgeous baby gorillas playing, seal show, reptiles of all sorts and riding on the cable car up and down 4 times - it was worth it!
We left as it started raining and went for a yummy treat in a local cafe to warm our bodies!
