But in Sydney the millions of dollars spent on Fireworks is quite spectacular! Tourist and locals spend weeks working out where they will watch the fireworks from, how they will get there and back etc etc! Some people even camp out in prime spots from the night before or early morning!
We were fortunate to be invited to my Moms friends house! It has an absolutely amazing view of the bridge and fireworks, the house is incredible and parking was easy!
We arrived at 8:50pm! Just in time for zaz to see the 9pm fireworks! Cathy (the owner of the house) had a buffet of desserts! Including the most amazing ice-cream cake with nuts, meringue, chocolate! Yum! Yum!
There were tons of kids! Zaz loved playing with the light bangles! By 10pm she was asleep on the outside lounge chairs... We socialized and ate more!
The midnight fireworks were spectacular! Really incredible!
