So many things to say ...

Mom (and Cas) have said it before ... Zaz is at that super cute
stage ... and it's hard to write down and capture every little cute
thing she says, as firstly she speaks from the minute she wakes up and
does not stop until she goes to bed (she is often found just chatting
to herself or singing a song about what she is doing) and secondly the
way she says things and with her hand gestures and facial
expressions ... we all just want to EAT her UP!
But ... let me give it a bash ...
The other day:
Mom: ZaZ I think I have some wiggly worm sweets in the car for you ...
ZaZ: (Looking straight into Moms eyes) Mom, did you ACCIDENTLY squash
them?

On the aeroplane:
Mom: ZaZ watch the lane landing
ZaZ: The aeroplane is TRAVELING on its own road

Today at the beach, ZaZ says to Cas:
Auntie Cas you are the baby, and it is your birthday, you are turning
1 and I am making you a special cake for your party, a ballerina
cake ...

ZaZ told Cas this morning, 'I don't like going to the beach, because I
have to put Suncream on'. 'I don't like going into the sea, because
when the waves come it splashes y eyes' (hand gestures and all'

Her favourite word is 'actually' .. Like, 'It's actually mine'

Cas, I and ZaZ were playing follow-the-leader on the beach, well - ZaZ
was playing train driver ' 'Buckle-Up, press the red button and the
steam comes, choo-choo', moving her hands around and around. And then
she would say, 'When we go into the sea we must turn into a
celerine' ... finally Cas and I asked, 'What is a Celerine'...
ZaZ (with hand gestures): It goes into the sea and under the sea
Mom and Cas: OH - a Submarine
ZaZ: Yes, a submarine ... ok, let's all go on the celerine

She said to Cas, 'Do you know what I love best? Lying on peoples
tummy, it won't hurt, you won't cry'.

ZaZ is very proud of herself and gladly tells me, 'I didn't cry when
Dad put suncream on me' or 'I didn't cry when Cas washed my hair with
the handheld shower.'

ZaZ came with me to pick-up her shoes at the house where she has the
school, Max her cousin came with to see her classroom ... when we went
into the classroom it had been changed to a bedroom ... A few days
later while we were in the car, ZaZ said, 'I was really upset when we
went to my Little People School and the classroom was changed to a
bedroom'.

Whenever I ask ZaZ where she learnt that, she says: 'At my school,
Little People' or 'From the television'.

We went to see my amazing Granny Jenny while we were in Joburg. ZaZ
slept, when she woke-up, Granny Jenny took out her cards, ZaZ picked-
up the King and Queen and said snap. I said, look carefully ZaZ, one
is the King and one is the Queen, so they are not exactly the same.
She says: Yes, but they both live in the castle. ]
When we arrived in Australia, she was happy to announce that: Granny
Jenny taught me how to play bridge. And made Cas play with her.

At the tea table, ZaZ was eating her cake and I was chatting to Granny
Jenny about Auntie Esther. I asked Granny who wins when her and Auntie
Esther play. Granny said me. ZaZ pipes up: You must let Auntie Esther
win sometimes. (she listens and picks-up on ALL conversations ... very
quick!)

Granny Jenny kept calling Bern Bernahard ... ZaZ said: You have the
wrong name, his name is Bern!
