Mom says...

While I'm sitting in BJ's flat waiting for this 'schmendrick' to fix the DSTV...I might as well write some stories about ZaZ that have been in my head for a while (and long-overdue) ...

Just not ideal to write from a bb...but let's try...

Zaz says AT least once a day, these things:
'when I'm 18 - dad is going to buy me a car just like yours Mom'...

'Mom, one day - can we fetch little Dani from her house and take her to the Aquarium with us?'

'Mom, Dad and I are going to go to Australia'

Its amazing that Zaz has a bookshelf FILLED with toys and puzzles etc...but as 3 years-old- what does ZaZ enjoy playing with: In the car - the string with beads on it from Franscescas party that hangs from the hand-bar...
- a piece of old string that hangs next to it...with this zaz makes knots, circles...this keeps her very entertained
At home:
- she LOVES to ask 'is Lindelwa coming to today?' If I say no, she says, 'good- then I can wash the dishes' and she stands for ages putting the soap on the brush, washing everything...
- Her doctors kit (and new Barbie Doctor Kit) is another fav...
- She LOVES her till and the money and the few shop things...
- Zaz can play by herself in the Bath with empty containers and a bar of soap playing all sorts of things

Funny little things I hear her say:
- 'Oh No, its ruined'
- 'Isn't that silly?'
- 'Don't do that - its dangerous' OR 'careful, its dangerous'
- Making-up funny little songs with made-up words
- 'remember when...'
- 'It wasn't me that spilt the water-it was my hand'
-'Is this the restaurant, where is the menu? Please can I order...hmm...'
- IF zaz can't think of a word, she will click her tongue until she thinks of it...
'Don't worry...it will be ok'
- 'this is one of my favourite tops/food/shoes'
-'are you wearing your fast shoes?' - 'maybe one day we can....'
- 'Let's make a deal' 'IS that a GOOD deal?' (I wonder where she gets that from)
- 'This is absolutely Delicious'
- 'But whose going to look after me?'
- 'Is it for Grown-ups or Little children?'

I have written this before...I can't BELIEVE how much ZaZ remembers from FaR back...Things that we have not spoken about ever...she will MONTHS later suddenly tell me all about it!

- the morning of her birthday party...she suddenly pipped up...'I want a party JUST like Ambers...with Ariel crowns and alice bands, at the Aquarium, with Delicious cookies...' Thank Goodness she was very happy with her Party!

- She often talks about the 'The Gruffolo Show that we went to see in Australia with the little Mouse'

- 'When I had my birthday party at BJ's house and I had a Barney Cake'

She loves to know that she is getting bigger and measures herself nearly everyday on the wall chart that Big Dani gave her...

She loves it when her clothes are too small...and then she says, 'We must give them to Hannah Banana OR Laura's babies'

Her use of expression, inflections, tone, hand gestures is just TOO cute! I want to capture EVERY minute!

I'm sure there is more...but my thumb is sore...
