ZaZ is 3 years and about 2 weeks old today ... and I can honestly say she is getting CUTER and CUTER by the day ... I sometimes think, 'can she do ANYTHING cuter?' and then she pipes up with something that just cracks me up in laughter ...
To be honest - I find it REALLY hard to be cross with ZaZ ... Most of my 'cross' with her is 'put-on' ... like, 'ZaZ pick up the toys' - when I really don't mind ...
Don't get me wrong, I do get irritated with her ... Like when I have 7 HEAVY grocery bags hanging all over my body and she refuses to walk with me to the lift ... hmmm ... irritation sets in ...
Ok, what about ZaZ:
- She is VERY into doing 'shows' ... puppet shows, magic shows, 'I'm going to get dressed - get what I am' shows - when she goes and puts a ribbon on (or something like that) and then we have to guess until she chooses the thing she likes (which can go on for a while)
- EVERY day ZaZ is coming up with new words ... Today she said, 'I have a BRILLIANT game' ... She also told Liora that she must be 'the chef', in addition to me being the 'waitress' and her being the 'customer' ...
- Everything is a Running Race. 'Stop. Wait here. Let's have a race. Are you wearing your fast shoes? Ready, steady, go. I am the winner!' (ZaZ does NOT like not winning)
- ZaZ is a born teacher ... she wants to be teaching all the time. When she comes with me to Clamber, she basically teaches the class and LOVES telling the other children what to do.
- She is SUPER expressive when she talks, with her hands (on her hips, or Peter Pointer sticking out, or with her hand gestures), her voice - every word has an inflection ... my favourite is when she says, 'litttttle bit' - with this British accident and high pitch ...
- ZaZ talks ALL the time
- Her favourite toys: wipes! She can do SO many things with wipes, make beds for her dolls, wrap things, clean things etc etc.
A R5 coin in the car which is her 'magical steering wheel' that makes the car go fast and takes away all the trucks on the road
Jamies sword - which is magical and is a GREAT steering wheel with different buttons and does lots of different things
Any stick - which becomes a magical wand and turns things into different things and makes things dissapear
(notice a theme here)
- Every day or 2 ZaZ asks .. 'Am I still 3?' ... and says, 'When I am 4 I will ... make poos in the toilet/sleep in a big bed/ clean-up ... etc
- ZaZ has been AMAZING about moving into her own room ... 3 nights of calling for Dad to sleep with her at 2am ... and then sleeping through the night and running into our bedroom at 7am in the morning with a BIG smile on her face and announcing, 'Wake-up - it's a beautiful day'
- ZaZ has an incredible memory ... For example, every night she gets into the bath and asks, 'I can make wees in my African bath?' only after I say yes she makes a wee. BECAUSE Cassi told her she can't make wees in the Australian bath ... and when I ask, which bath can't you make wees in - she says, 'The Australian bath' ... (Cas you have caused a constant memory) ...
- Every time we drive past the theater ... she says, 'Mom, Mom (super excited voice) this is where we saw the puppet show with Dani' ...
- ZaZ tells everyone, 'I have had a party with the grown-ups and now I am having a party with the children' ...
- Running races on the promenade are an all time favorite ...
- What activities is ZaZ doing (record-keeping) Kindermusik,Playball,Yoga and Drama in school day .... Swimming lesson for 30mins twice a week ... (she just finished a patch of crying for 10 mins in the middle of the lesson - and then not wanting to get out ... kids are weird ... Moms heart ached as she put ZaZ crying back in the pool) ... and then ballet once a week and Clamber Club every now and then ...
ZaZ favourite food: Pasta pockets with grated cheese, toasted cheese and tomato, avo, pizza
At night we have to do the roly-poly all over the bed game and lots of tickling and kissing and laughing before an audio-book and off to dreamland!
... As always - I am sure there is more ...
I LOVE YOU ZAZ more and more Everyday ... Is that possible?
Love Mom'
