Mom says, 'I have not written for a while about what ZaZ is up to ... So here is:
Well, it feels like there is nothing ZaZa can't say ... and gone are the days that I can list what she is saying ... because she is chatting ALL the time ... but I will try remember some of the cute things that she is doing ...
- ZaZa has picked up that I really like to hear about what is happening at school (she is attending school 3 days a week 9 - 12pm - I am going through separation anxiety- but that is for another post) ... 1 day when ZaZ was in Bed, I said, 'ZaZ tell me about school ... ' ... Nothing ... BUT now when she is procrastinating and fighting off sleep she says ... 'Mom, I want to tell you about school ...', 'Yes, ZaZ' ... 'Ummmmmmm ... we painted ... ' ... we think ZaZ is super clever and sneaky ...
- 'Ah Ha' has become a popular word in ZaZa's vocab .. instead of Yes ...
- ZaZ loves this book called 'Parp' ... which has sounds of a little boy making a fart, and girls burping, and slurping milkshake ... as a result of this book .. she loves to say, 'exshuse me' at every opportunity ..
- 'Mom, I want to tell you something (long pause) one day ...' This is a common phrase ...
- Asking me, 'What happened to my orange bucket?', 'What happened to the bird poo on your car window', 'What happened to the Drum at Dani's house' 'I shared and the little boy at Clamber Club broke baby jog's arm' ... these are common phrases that I hear OVER and OVER again ...
- 'No ways' ... is said often during the day ... with LOTS of passion
- 'Hands off Mom!'
- 'I have an idea ...' 'Where are we going to park today? Are we going to get a good parking? Next to a white car'
- At least 5 times a day ... ZaZ says, 'Green is my favourite colour, blue is your favourite colour and white is Daddy's favourite colour ... What is your favourite colour?' Or if we see ANYTHING green or blue ... ZaZ gets super excited shouting, 'There is a green kite ... Green is my favourite colour'
- ZaZ has big plans for her life ... she reminds Phil and I all the time, 'I am 2 now ... when I turn 3 I am going to get a watch, when I turn 4 I am going to go on a helicopter ... I am going on the Red one ... Dani is going on the blue one'
- ZaZa LOVES yoga ... and she loves playing that her or I are Angie the Yoga teacher ... and we do all sorts of yoga moves
- ZaZa's favourite song at the moment is 'twinkle twinkle little star ..'
- Favourite TV programme is Wonder Pets ... followed closely by Dora and then Go Diego
-ZaZ picks up things very quickly ... and when she does not have an afternoon sleep she runs out of the room shouting (with a BIG smile) ... 'No sleep, no TV' ... or tells Lindelwa (with a very put on Sad face) ... 'I am NOT ALLOWED TV today ... cause I did not sleep!' .... But if she does have an afternoon sleep ... she wakes up and immediately says, 'I can watch 2 wonder pets cause I slept'
- I am sure there is more ... but I can't think now ... What I do know - is ZaZ is a TOTAL delight and pure entertainment and nachas!'
