'Mom came up with a little song to make Zaz eat her food, and I love singing
it now, '3 little beans sitting on a fork, flew into zaza's mouth, oh! No
little beans- zaza giggles and she started singing the song herself
Hiding in the cupboard ''I missappeared!'' Zaz hears Footsteps and says,
'the monster's coming'
Drops the egg out of the fridge '''I made a mistake''
Concerned about whose kikoy is whose ''This is mommy's kikoy''
ZaZa is the SEATBELT police... and as soon as anyone gets into the car, she
shouts: 'Put your SEATIE belt on!'
After flying like birds on the beach, she was still into the role playing
saying ''Come on big mommy bird'' ... This has become a big pretend game
that we play all the time, 'Big Mommy Bird' and 'Little bby bird' and now
there is, 'big daddy bird'
ZaZa constantly said throughout the holiday, 'I wanna go to my home to my
daddy and my green umbrella'
ZaZa loved telling Cassi and I that she was going to the ''holiday home''
and ''Amica's holiday home'''
Couldn't remember Amica's name, so just called her ''my friend''... 'where's
my friend'
ZaZ takes her Big Jog and little Jog everywhere now, and says, 'Big Jog is
little jog's daddy, and little jog has to sit on ''her daddy's lap''
ZaZa LOVED the 'microwave' in the 'holiday home' and loved to cook 'LONCH
in the microwave'
Gia said ''we're at the holiday home'' and zaza said ''no holiday BEACH''
ZaZ loved making cakes at the beach and cutting them and singing happy
birthday and it was always HER birthday
ZaZ loves the sand moulds, especially the mermaid ''I make a mermaid, with
earrings''
ZaZ started doing ballet, like lifting her arms up and slowly bringing them
down and spinning around etc. ''I doing ballet like Tayla''
Sometimes auntie Cass just becomes AUNTIE…''where's auntie?''
Cass woke up, Zaza said to Gia ''auntie cass awake .... ITS awake''
We've all been having meals together, and zaza will have a perfectly nice
meal, but she looks straight over at auntie cass's, lean's over and with big
puppy eyes says ''want some yours'', with an inflection at the end, so it
sounds like a question, but its definitely not ... and most times she says
''lets swap!''
Sitting in the car, zaza pipes up ''I have a beautiful hair…what colour's
your hair auntie cass'' which also has an upward inflection, like she needs
confirmation
She was hiding and then she jumped out and said ''its me with the red hair!''
... Zaz loves hiding when somebody comes to visit and jumping up and saying,
'Surprise' ... ZaZ LOVES 'hiding with Auntie Cas in her tent in the morning'
Gia and Cass were talking about Mexico and Zaza kept piping up ''That's Dora's
friend'' and we totally didn't understand why she was saying that. Auntie
Cass said ''where'' and zaza very innocently and honestly said ''I don't
know''. Eventually Gia realised it's cos we kept saying San DIEGO!
'I got a Kikoy SISO ... they have a blue car SISO' ZaZ uses SISO instead of
Also ...
Loves to point out all the blue cars ... 'Theres a blue car like Mommy's'
She's come to understand left and right and in a very adult manner, when we
are driving, she says ''there's a church on your left mommy''
ZaZa loves finding and pointing out churches while we are driving anywhere
She can very competently count to 10 ... and when putting sun cream on her
face, if you tell her to count to 10, she proceeds to count VERY quickly
(She does not like sunscreen .. ANYMORE)
She likes when Auntie Cass dances in a certain way, but instead of saying
dance like the OTHER day, she says ''dance like the LAST day''
She loves to talk to Phil on the phone. One day Gia was speaking to Phil and
said ''bye babe'', and zaza said ''I want to speak to babe'' ... and then
loves to push the 'read button ... all gone ... daddy not there'
The foot game where Auntie cass or zaza hide their feet in the sand and then
phone daddy to see where they are, has been developed…Cass was on the
'phone' to phil inquiring about where zaza's foot was, and then zaza very
adamantly said ''BOTH feet''. Then zaza slowly revealed her feet and said ''I
see a big toe'' ... we then played this game in Cape Town and said, 'Let's
phone Daddy' ... ZaZ looked at Cas and I like we were stupid and said,
'Daddy at beach ... let's phone Bobi'
She loves doing round and round the garden on her hand and the other morning
when cuddling with cass in bed, she started doing it on auntie cass's face
around her eye.
Zaza loves to hide in Auntie Cass's tent in the morning- she pulls the duvet
over and says ''anybody see us'', as in nobody can see us ... she loves to
whisper
It was a very big day when ZaZ made TWO wees in the toilet!! ... then back
in Cape Town she made a wee in the sand ... Now she wants to hunch down and
wee everywhere!
Gia asked which book Zaza wants to read and zaza said ''the poop book''
You can tell her a long sentence to say and she'll try so hard to repeat the
whole thing.
Gia said ''tell auntie cass her eggs are ready and they're still hot'', she
put her forehead on auntie cass's forehead, looked into her eyes and said ''your
eggs are ready…hot'' and then did a little air kiss just to seal the deal.
She's very cuddly at the moment..she loves to sit on your lap and give you
a little kiss on the lips ... or just run up to you while she is doing
things and give you a hug and kiiss
Gia was taking a pic and said to zaza "Say Charlie'', zaza said ''no, im
saying sizzles''
