My amazing daughter ...
Mom here, ...”It sometimes amazes me how amazing ZaZa is. Yes, it is Mom again ... Boasting (like a true Jewish Mom should) about her daughter. But, I must say, today ZaZa was truly amazing. After going to bed at 9:30pm (and – may I add, playing very nicely and being very entertaining up until that time), she woke up at 7:15 with a big smile on her face. Then we quickly got dressed and went to Clamber Club. While Lauren and I set-up, she played with ‘baba’ Kara and messed about. At 10, quickly fetched Lindelwa – drop ZaZa and Lindelwa at home (ok – a bit of separation anxiety crying). She slept from 11 till 1. Woke up, shoved her into the car with a meilie for lunch – off to meet my friend Lisa at Woolworths. 2 hours at Woolworths (a few niggles in the beginning – because I wanted to rent her off to Lisa while I went to the toilet – which was a ‘no, no’ in ZaZa’s books). Rush off from the waterfront to see the second half of the Broadway theatre production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Awesome. Rush off to Cavendish – shop for winter clothes, fight with the shop assistant, ZaZa finds the chocolate eggs and munches on them (through the tinfoil). Grab chicken leg and ginger beer. Change ZaZa in the car. Pop her in the pouch. Go see the movie, ‘Vicky Christina Barcelona’. Munch an X-Large bag of popcorn(which as Phil would say – that is amazing to sleep through Gia’s popcorn munching). In the Car, at home, into bed. Now is that amazing or what??? Thank you ZaZa!”
