My amazing daughter ...
Mom here, ...”It sometimes amazes me how amazing ZaZa is. Yes, it is Mom again ... Boasting (like a true Jewish Mom should) about her daughter. But, I must say, today ZaZa was truly amazing. After going to bed at 9:30pm (and – may I add, playing very nicely and being very entertaining up until that time), she woke up at 7:15 with a big smile on her face. Then we quickly got dressed and went to Clamber Club. While Lauren and I set-up, she played with ‘baba’ Kara and messed about. At 10, quickly fetched Lindelwa – drop ZaZa and Lindelwa at home (ok – a bit of separation anxiety crying). She slept from 11 till 1. Woke up, shoved her into the car with a meilie for lunch – off to meet my friend Lisa at Woolworths. 2 hours at Woolworths (a few niggles in the beginning – because I wanted to rent her off to Lisa while I went to the toilet – which was a ‘no, no’ in ZaZa’s books). Rush off from the waterfront to see the second half of the Broadway theatre production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’. Awesome. Rush off to Cavendish – shop for winter clothes, fight with the shop assistant, ZaZa finds the chocolate eggs and munches on them (through the tinfoil). Grab chicken leg and ginger beer. Change ZaZa in the car. Pop her in the pouch. Go see the movie, ‘Vicky Christina Barcelona’. Munch an X-Large bag of popcorn(which as Phil would say – that is amazing to sleep through Gia’s popcorn munching). In the Car, at home, into bed. Now is that amazing or what??? Thank you ZaZa!”

Minnie Mouse ...
... I am my mother’s child ... I LOVE chocolate ice-cream ... After eating some of my ice-cream scoop from the cup, I chucked the spoon on the floor and stuck my face into the ice-cream ...
Birthday present ...
We took Celie and Ivor (unfortunately Ivor could not make it), to see the theatre production of Beauty and the Beast – for Bobba’s birthday. It was AWESOME. But at interval (after an hour and a half), I had a temperature of 40 – so Dad said it is best for us to leave :(
Oliver twist ...
... Please sir can I have more! - Just for the record, ‘More’ and ‘up-down’ are ZaZa’s new fav words ... And of course, ‘No’ - said with LOTS of determination. Sometimes there is a head nod, especially to the question, ‘would you like some Lindt chocolate?’
BJ ...
BJ came to visit us in CT ... And although I had a high temperature the WHOLE weekend ... We still managed to have fun ...
So predictable ...
Mom writes, ‘... And SO cute ... Zaza as soon as she gets out of her car seat says, ‘bye’ (and waves) to her wire dolphin and butterfly. Then, if we have parked in our garage, she points to the dried out, black banana that I once (long time ago) put by the wall – when it was still yellow, and says nana, nana. (that is the second picture – of the nana). It is too cute!’

Enrolment Form
Hi Shelly
Please find attached the enrolment form. As you suggested on the phone, I only completed the sections that are relevant for now.
Please let me know that you got this.
Now that the deposit has been paid and registration form completed, does this mean Zaria has a space saved at Little People starting April 2010?
Thanks.
Eagerly awaiting your reply

WOW ...
... What a busy Sunday ... Straight from Lunch we went to early dinner at Dani’s house. I was like an overtired Zombie – I couldn’t even walk straight. I just wanted to lie down and cuddle Baba Sacha and sleep. The girls played with handbags ... I was just ready to go home ... Thanks Brett and Nici fir a great dinner.
What a great Sunday!
We spent the WHOLE day at Auntie Estelle and Uncle Pete’s house. It was a hot Sunday and Phil, Mish, Leora, Sam and Auntie Ester were here from Joburg. All the cousins played together, Pete and Estelle made an AWESOME braai, and we had a fabulous day. Thanks guys!
Saturday lunch ...
... At Deer Park with Mom, Dad, Phil and Elena ... Great fun. Playing with everybody, stealing Phil’s vanilla milkshake, making friends with a little boy who insisted I sit on his lap, eating wedges ... I LOVE Summer and good friends!
