Eko Schools Speech

Tom: Hi my name is Tom. And I along with Zaria would like to tell you about an upcoming very exciting thing happening at the school.
Zaria: Hi we have noticed that the school needs to improve its eco-friendliness. Verdala is doing so much but we can do so much more.
That's why we have worked together with teachers and from the first idea of the earth club have come up with the idea to contribute to Eko Schools!
Tom: So what is Eko Schools? Well, Eko school is an international organization set on making schools across the world environmentally friendly.
Zaria: Eco Schools has the largest global schools program, and has 51,000 schools around the world in 67 countries. So we have decided to make Verdala an Eko School.
Tom: And start working for awards such as the Green Flag and Silver Award all of which are awards given to schools be Eco Schools. But we can not do it alone. Verdala needs a group of, smart, interested, upstanding students to help it.
Zaria: Committees will be formed in ES, MS and HS. All working towards a better future.
Tom: Of course everyone will be involved! However, there will be a group of students taking more initiative.
Zaria: The group will be formed of:

Treasurer
PR
PR team

Zaria: Tom and I will be making up the President and Vice-President.

Zaria: We are also glad to announce that this team will be working towards getting Verdala the Silver Award very very soon!
