Life

When you have your period (great excuse) and go and eat a super sweet, super chocolatey, super delicious croissant at the pastry cafe you have been eyeing on fb!

And do a long promenade walk with a friend 😉

My little happy camper

The last few days this one has been bouncing around and being a happy camper everywhere!

She happily asks the parents in her class directly after school, 'please can you look after me while I play, so my mom can go fetch zaria'

Today she asked a mom, 'can I come play at your house' - to which the answer was yes, and off she went!

She has definitely come out of her shell!!

5 is definitely the best age!

Have I mentioned that she does not stop chatting!

Graduation shopping

I feared it!! It was a success!

Now to 'accessorize' the outfit

My 2 pippi longstockings

Oh my! When these 2 get along life is glorious!!

Azi wants to go everything Zaz does! She idolizes Zaz (and Zaz also drives her a bit nuts)

But the conversations between these 2 (and the way they play in the bath every night) - priceless!!!!

Zarias graduation speech

She wrote this completely on her own - in about 20 minutes, using quotes from her reading book, 'good night stories for rebel girls'

Speech can only be 1 minute

Maltese food

Fun morning of cooking Maltese food! Followed by happy kids eating Maltese food!

It’s days like these ...

That I wonder what we doing in Malta and what we are doing to our continent!

Azi and Zaz have had 5 months of sickness! It feels like every week they are having something!!!! (Ok, not every week, but every second week)

Although we live in a great complex and great flat, as soon as we walk outside - there are FIVE big buildings / construction around us! Either a building is being knocked down or built up!

Tonight I head out in my promenade walk - and the road parallel to our building - heading down to promenade - there are 12 trucks (the road is 500m) and they all digging up the road!

Seriously!

Oh - and I must have walked past 300 tourists in 1 hour! What are they all doing here!

Ok! I'll try be more positive tomorrow!

Thankfully phil bought an air purifier today!

One day I'll look back at this experience and laugh!

Tonight, 'ealanor oliphant' and I will go to bed! And try not Think about the dust!

Funny little chirps

We sitting in the car the other day and Azi says, 'Zaz you are excluded ... actually, I don't know what that means ... what does it mean' - we explained and then she said, 'oh, I meant - included'

In the bath last night, she's making me a smoothie, she says - 'this is gluten free with added vitamin c'

She comes off the playground and says, 'i was playing like a crazy person'

Oh my gosh, there are so many more - I must write them down!
