Lucy! We have lots of fun in the pool and out - in the park outside the magic door that leads to the pool! So awesome!

Just call us (well mainly Phil) master chefs!

Since coming to oz - we (mainly Phil) have taken to the kitchen ...

Well, my salads rock - but this one was extra awesome - with pieces of fillet and butternut!

Then Phil's incredible stirfrys and chicken!

And yes ... I attempted Asian risotto ... Didn't quite perfect it - next time ... But it was yummy lunch the next day!

A very yummy and clever cake!

Zaz went to a party on Sunday - the mom of the party makes these cakes (and jelly) as s business! The containers are excellent and the cake is YUM! (and can be put away for later) clever hey?!

Who knew vegan could be so delicious!

On Sunday ... Our fresh off the boat friends, Steve and Tali invited us to their new find! Green gourmet! It is completely vegan - no garlic or onion even ... It has won awards!

I don't know which I liked more - the fact that they came around with the food and we just ate and ate continuously (I think it's called yum cha), or that everything is vegetarian - so no worries of pork etc, or the fact that it is 'supposedly healthy', OR the fact that we ate and ate and ate and it came to $35 per couple OR that the food was really yummy!!

Of course - being in newtown we Had to have mad cow frozen yoghurt! Today's flavored: black sesame, chocolate and awesome mango!

A very very difficult decision!

Every day zaz took the silver coins that Phil came home with (5, 10 and 20 cents!) and collected them in her piggy bank! Eventually the piggy bank was full and she had $15!

After discovering that the Dora mermaid she had been eyeing out was too expensive :( ... We headed to kmart ...

After going up and down the aisles ... She eventually said, 'I really think that a Barbie is a good idea, I want to keep my room tidy, so I need something small so I can pack it away'

She was very happy with her purple long-haired Barbie! That she brushes and brushes and brushes!

Newtown fun!

Last Saturday Cas, zaz and I went exploring in newtown ... After eating a not-so-great lunch @ newtown Thai (of which there are 3!) ... We went exploring the street - filled with second hand clothing shops, funky shops with funky names, little coffee shops and cafes .. And WOW COW - where we had chocolate and cereal milk flavored ice cream! ... Apparently the place to eat is green palace - we will be returning there!
