What a fun weekend!

WOW! What a weekend ... It started with a physio and my friend Gabi's party
on Friday. Then to fetch Adina from the airport and off to Strand for the
Limmud weekend. It was AWAESOME. Mom schlepped me to all the lectures, I
slept, played with tons of different people. Once a while, I went to the
creche and chilled out with the kids. I made a special friend Sivon. The
lectures were really interesting and the people their were awesome. Mom says
I am incredible, I also somehow attract people and they are warm and caring
to me ... A superfabulous weekend!

Coming out!

Finally ... After TWO weeks of not socialising with my buddies... My Roseola
rash finally went and I was allowed to go to the Mommy and me class. It was
such fun (and overwhelming to see my friends). Afterwards mom and I went
shopping for our weekend away, we saw Josh there (aka Little Beckham - check
the hair). Then we dashed off to the doc for my Australian visa. Hectic day
out!

Mom has been complaining about her hair for ages ... Finally she took the
big JUMP and tried a new hairdresser ... This is the result ... I think it
looks great!

Tuesday

My first promenade walk in DAYS, it was cold ... But I am nice and warm in
my Eskimo suit from cousin Noam in NY :) Thanks Noam!

Monday

Another trip back to Dr Basil Sacks (trip number 3) ... He checked out my
spots and said I'm still infectious to babies, so no socialising! So off to
meet Karen for our regular Monday coffee, but no babies with her for me to
play with. Then running around and finally a late lunch with BJ at
Willoghby's ... And my first bit of sushi! Yum!

A very busy Sunday

After spending the morning chilling at home and on the promenade with BJ and
dad ... Mom, Bj and I spent the afternoon shopping at Cavendish, this always
involves a lunch and coffee stop (and a sleep in the pouch) ... Then at
night I went to watch my cousin, Josh in the Yiddish singing festival ...

BJ

BJ came to visit me this weekend ... He bought me very cute clothes. I
really LOVE to play with his glasses!

Birthday Present

Once again ... I had to stay inside today, because of the spot on my body. I
stayed with Das, while mom went to Shul and then two birthday parties. BUT,
when mom came home, she brought with her my first bicycle. The moms in the
mommy and me class bought it for my birthday (all 7 babies got one). I LOVE
it ... Dad says I am ready for the Argus or Tour de France.

Mom and I have had a terrible few days …

 

On Wednesday I went to see ANOTHER doctor (One closer to our house … because my favourite Doc, Uncle Pete … is too far). This doc sent us off to the hospital for blood tests and x-rays. We had to sit in a smelly room with lots of other people (on a beautiful day) for over 2 hours. The tests found that my chest is clear but that I have a virus … onto ANOTHER anti-biotic.

 

Thursday, Mom and I stayed inside all day. Luckily at 4 a friend came to play with me, and Dad came home early to bath and put me to bed, while mom went to Yoga (before she got cabin fever).

 

Friday: another day of high temperature and home … back to doc at 3. Spots all over my stomach … I have Roseola … SO, hopefully now that the spots are out … I am on my way to recovering!

Tuesday ...

Monday: No pictures ... Mom said I cried more today than I have cried in the
WHOLE ten months ... Mom drove me all the way to Uncle/Doctor Pete in Tokai
(45 minutes away) ... And he said I have thrush in the mouth, it is very
sore and I find it sore to eat ANYTHING ... And mom constantly has to stick
her finger in my mouth, or a syringe in my mouth - both of which I really
dislike ...
And ... It has been gorgeous weather, which I cant enjoy ...

Tuesday: Still not feeling great ... But still went to meet my friends in
the park ... Mom wanted a 'group' photo ... But I justed wanted the keys
that were being waved about!

Sunday

Moms friends from Ot came to play with me ... But I was still feeling a bit
KAK ... So I was not much fun to play with (check out the snotty nose and
watery eyes!)

Yipppeeee ....

I found the bathroom cupboard ... So many interesting things to unpack ... I
have to shake everything, just to see if it's 'real' ... I could have spent
the whole day playing in there!
